I made the impression die for this after watching the "great pottery throw down" its made out of an old ball bearing using a ball fuller and an eye punch. I was in  the shop late that night, I remember the moon was so bright outside I could see my shadow when I walked out side. I wasn't intentionally going for anything lunar, but its all I could see after I started.

On a more practical note the handle is wide and makes it easy to hold and poor. Its a great size pan with enough room to cook for 2 to 3 people.

thickness of pan bottom 12g (2.6mm)

pan width 11"

pan depth 1.75"
