I have used this motif several times and I am always surprised at how fun it looks when finished and how difficult it is to make. The Peas are actually captive ball bearings that want to fly across the shop while closing the pod. Once they are in there its great but you haven't lived until you chased what are basically super heated bouncy balls around the shop in a panic that they will start a fire. Only to find that they are extremely difficult to pick up as leather gloves are to slippery from vaporizing, and they some how slip out of every pair of tongs near by. 
 
There dozens of neat projects that are "easy" once you remember the trick but if you don't do them often enough it needs to be relearned
